04.256 BOOK
EDITORIAL Design
The goal of this editorial design project was to create a book with a system and references out of 256 random images collected by me. To give the book a meaningful structure, the images were organized into four categories based on the emotions they were likely to evoke. I then created collages for each category, combining multiple images into one large image that amplifies the emotions and atmospheres better than presenting each individual image.
Each spread of collages is followed by a full-page reference to provide context for each image. This helped to make the book a more engaging and informative experience for the reader. Finally, I included a page that explained the categorization system used, bringing coherence and understanding to the overall structure of the book.
Overall, this editorial design project successfully transformed a collection of random images into a cohesive and meaningful book that conveyed a range of emotions and atmospheres through thoughtful organization and presentation.
